Little Bytham Footbridge
Lincolnshire County Council PLURA Polydeck to provide a new footbridge, as their old timber one was in desperate need of replacement due to rot. Using a wood effect GRP, we created a new bridge that is both sturdy and functional while seamlessly blending in with its surroundings.
The brief
The existing timber footbridge had reached the end of its serviceable life and was in need of replacement, due mainly to the timber beams beginning to rot.

PLURA Polydeck provided a GRP wood effect Bridge to match the existing environment and not change the look of the area.
The finished product provides an anti-slip solution for wet conditions by water, with a long service life compared to timber due to GRP being non-rot.
