A PLURA product
All POLYprofiles™ are made in house, in the UK, by the Pultrusion process and conform to EN13706: Pultruded Profiles for Structural Purposes. Standard profiles combine high quality Isophthalic polyester resin with thousands of strands of high grade E-Glass fibre, Glass fibre matting and Surface veils.
All structural POLYprofiles™ produced at PLURA have a minimum mechanical property of E23, and often exceed this level providing designers and users alike that safety factors and quality are guaranteed.
Most structural profiles are produced to a minimum Class 1 fire rating.
In addition to a standard range of structural profiles, PLURA have also worked closely with many large customers to develop a structural and/or fire retardant profile, specific to their project needs.
Many profiles are used in house when incorporated into our innovative products.
Contains thousands of glass-fibre strands, resistant to impact & greater than steel tensile properties.
GRP is not affected by salts, oils, acids or alkaline & will not corrode.
GRP is a non conductive material, electrically and thermally.
GRP is inherently fire resistant and can be made fully fire retardant.
Much lighter than steel without compromising on performance.
With through colouring & no corrosion POLYprofile™ doesn't need to be repainted or maintained.
